Providing psychotherapy that is:
  • faith-based Biblical

  • healing for your mind
  • encourages Christian growth

Insurance: Insurance is not accepted, but some insurance providers allow "out of network" counseling. In this case, Transforming Minds will help by providing receipts, and fill out necessary forms from your insurance provider, so that you can submit the required documents to gain reimbursement. Transforming Minds cannot guarantee that your insurance provider will give a reimbursement to you, since this "out of network" agreement is between you and your insurance provider. In order to maintain the low cost of therapy for all Clients, Transforming Minds will not enter into a "Single Case Agreement" (SCA) where your insurance provider requires additional expenses towards the cost of therapy.
Payment Terms: You can afford the first therapy session at Transforming Minds, because it is free. That way you can discover the benefit of receiving counseling at no cost to you. If you desire additional therapy sessions, you will find that the rate ($80/hour) for counseling has been reduced in order to make it affordable. In the event that you are unemployed, then a reduced fee is available. As mentioned above, the first hour of your first session is free of charge, but you are fully responsible for all services provided thereafter. Full payment is expected at the end of each session. With this in mind, it is important to bring your payment with you to each session. Payment may be made by cash, credit card, or a personal check (payable to Transforming Minds). If you want to pay by credit card, there is a small, additional fee for credit card transactions.
